Common questions
Family FAQ.
Can I use my benefits for my spouse and kids?
Yes. Your dependents (spouse, partner, dependent children) can claim against your shared family allocation. Unlike most Canadian platforms, on NuvioLife each dependent gets their own login so they can submit and track their own claims independently.
How do I add a dependent?
In your profile, go to Dependents then Add Dependent. Enter their name, relationship, and date of birth, and an invitation email is sent so they can set up their own account. Some employer plans require HR approval for new dependents, your dashboard will tell you.
What happens to my balance at the end of the year?
That depends on your employer's plan settings. Some plans carry forward unused balances for a period; others reset annually. You can see your specific plan rules and your remaining balance in the app dashboard.
